TWINCHIES ON MONDAY - DANCE

The theme this week is..... DANCE

The most obvious choice for me would have been to draw a ballet dancer or a pair of ballet shoes.  But after a lot of thought this is what I came up with:

Surely everyone remembers Gene Kelly in "Singin' in the Rain",  unless of course you are very young.  The theme song ends with the line "...singin' and dancin' in the rain".
So here he is , "...dancin' in the rain."  They don't make good movies like that one any more.

For more renditions of Inchies and Twinchies please visit  Every Inchie Monday.

Dear ChrisJ,
This is the first time I have visited your blog and I was touched to discover that Flamborough is close to your heart. It's a place I have visited many times though not in more recent years. I often think of the seabirds nesting on Bempton Cliffs and puffins skimming the water. Recently I have been working on a novel called "The Headland" and Flamborough certainly contributed to my imaginative processes even though my made-up headland isn't obviously Flamborough Head.
Best wishes,
Neil (aka Yorkshire Pudding)

I saw it several times and could not imagine anyone dancing in the rain in new shoes like he wore. Anyway, I never danced in the rain. But I have walked in the rain.

I am trying to get the word out to all blogger friends that I have a new birds blog.

Since I was hacked I had to give up my old user name and the blogs that went with it.

So this is the new birds blog and I hope you can come visit. Birds Birds Birds and Birds

Your inchies are looking marvelous. I've been swamped at work but I'm all caught up now and put my Inchies on my blog.

Nice twinchie :) That too is one of my high ranking favourite movies. Bit of useless information, did you know the tune Singing in the Rain was taken from an erlier movie, the Hollywood Review 1929.

Nice Job. I thought of Gene Kelly too but did not get round to it.

Wonderful idea. I think it is the first inchie with a dancing man I found in our group.
